FAQs

Who is legally allowed to perform PRP in the UK? PRP is a medical procedure involving blood products and is classed as an unlicensed medicine. Under UK law, it can only be performed by qualified prescribers: doctors, dentists, nurse prescribers, or pharmacist prescribers. At Vidalane Aesthetics, all PRP treatments are carried out by a GMC-registered doctor for your safety and peace of mind.

Are your treatments halal?
Yes. At Vidalane Aesthetics, we use halal-certified or vegan-friendly products where possible and avoid any animal-derived ingredients in our treatments. We also provide ethical, modest rejuvenation options in line with Islamic principles.

Can both men and women have PRP treatments?
Yes. We offer PRP treatments for both men and women. Whether for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, or microneedling with PRP, suitability will be assessed by our doctor during a consultation to ensure the treatment is appropriate for your needs and medical history.

Why do you charge what you do?
We believe in fair pricing for a doctor-led service using premium medical-grade equipment and advanced PRP protocols. Every treatment includes a thorough phone consultation, preparatory instructions to maximise results, dermatoscope imaging for before-and-after tracking, and tailored aftercare support. Our focus is on providing safe, ethical, and high-quality treatments from start to finish.

What happens during the phone consultation?
The phone consultation allows our doctor to discuss your concerns, review your medical history, and help decide if the treatment is likely suitable for you. This is not a medical diagnosis but an initial screening. Final suitability is confirmed during your in-person consultation.

What happens if I’m late or need to cancel?
We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit. Late arrivals of more than 20 minutes may incur a £25 late fee if the treatment still proceeds or forfeiture of your deposit if the session cannot go ahead.

What if I am not suitable for treatment?
If, after your consultation, you are deemed unsuitable for treatment, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Where are treatments carried out?
All treatments are performed in a private, doctor-led aesthetics treatment room within a home setting based in Bedford. The space is designed specifically for aesthetics treatments, with medical-grade equipment and strict hygiene standards to ensure your safety and comfort.

Do you offer package deals for PRP treatments?
Yes. We offer specially priced packages for clients booking a full course of PRP treatments. Packages ensure you receive the most effective results while saving on individual session costs. Ask us during your consultation for more details.
