FAQs
Are your treatments halal?
Yes. At Vidalane Aesthetics, we use halal-certified or vegan-friendly products where possible and avoid any animal-derived ingredients in our treatments. We also provide ethical, modest rejuvenation options in line with Islamic principles.
Can both men and women have PRP treatments?
Suitability will be reviewed during a consultation to ensure the procedure is appropriate for your goals and general health. PRP at Vidalane Aesthetics is offered for cosmetic purposes only.
Where are treatments carried out?
All procedures are carried out in a private, doctor-led aesthetics treatment room within a home setting in Bedford. The space is designed specifically for cosmetic services, using professional-grade equipment and strict hygiene standards to ensure your safety and comfort.
Why do you charge what you do?
At Vidalane Aesthetics, every treatment is led by a GMC-registered doctor with a focus on precision, safety, and natural results. We use advanced PRP techniques and medical-grade technology to enhance your skin and hair’s natural potential. Your experience includes a tailored consultation, bespoke preparation advice, and personalised aftercare to ensure the best possible outcome. With your consent, we also offer dermatoscope imaging to visually track your progress over time. Who is legally allowed to perform PRP in the UK? PRP involves working with your own blood plasma and under UK law it must only be performed by qualified healthcare professionals who can prescribe e.g. Doctors, dentists and nurse independent prescribers. At Vidalane Aesthetics, PRP is offered solely for cosmetic purposes and is carried out by a GMC-registered doctor for your safety. Important: Non-prescribers are not legally permitted to prepare or administer PRP in the UK. Treatments performed by unregulated providers may not be covered by medical indemnity insurance, which could leave clients unprotected if complications arise. At Vidalane Aesthetics, PRP is offered purely for cosmetic purposes to refresh and rejuvenate your skin, and is always carried out by a GMC-registered doctor to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
What happens during the phone consultation?
The phone consultation allows our doctor to discuss your goals, review any relevant health information, and help decide if the procedure is likely suitable for you. This is not a medical diagnosis but an initial cosmetic suitability check. Final suitability is confirmed during your in-person consultation. If, after your phone consultation, you are found unsuitable for cosmetic treatment, your deposit will be refunded in full.
What happens if I’m late or need to cancel?
We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit. Late arrivals of more than 20 minutes may incur a £25 late fee if the treatment still proceeds or forfeiture of your deposit if the session cannot go ahead.
Do you offer package deals for PRP treatments?
Yes. We offer specially priced packages for clients booking a full course of PRP treatments. Packages ensure you get the best cosmetic results while saving on individual session costs. Ask us during your consultation for more details.
